God madly loves you

As I continue to photograph the natural beauty God surrounds us with, I smile when I think about Matthew 10:31.

You, beloved, are worth so much more than a whole flock of sparrows. God knows everything about you…”

The loveliest flowers in existence would never be able to compare to the beauty God sees in us. All the beautiful birds flying through the air can’t hold a candle to the amount of love God bestows upon our hearts. Nothing will ever outshine all the beauty we possess.

It seems rather hard to visualize just how much God loves us, doesn’t it? I think maybe that’s because His kind of love is not understandable. It’s only when we realize this, that we see He’s not asking us to understand. All He wants is for us to receive.

He says:

You have my love. You don’t have to pay for it. You didn’t earn it and can’t deserve it. You only have to open to it and receive it. You only have to say yes to My love – a love beyond anything you can intellectualize or imagine.” (Brennan Manning)

My prayer today is that when you see God’s creation, it will also make you smile. I pray that it will remind you that your value doesn’t depend on how the world sees you, or how you see yourself. Your value is only represented through the One who made you. God madly loves you, and His wish is for you to see yourself through His eyes.

How valuable are you?

God is madly in love2

“You are valuable because you exist. Not because of what you do or what you have done, but simply because you are.” Max Lucado

God madly loves you

“The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV

God madly loves you

“Before you ever took a breath, long before the world began. Of all the wonders He possessed, there was one more precious. Of all the earth and skies above, you’re the one He madly loves.” MercyMe
