Review of The Way of Abundance: A 60-Day Journey Into a Deeply Meaningful Life
As a member of the Harper Collins book review team, I’m reviewing The Way of Abundance.
If I was asked to pick a favorite author, Ann Voskamp would be high on the list. Her first book “One Thousand Gifts” is a book that I’ve given away as a gift to friends. It is one of my all-time favorite books, and since then I don’t hesitate when it comes to buying anything else she’s written. This book is tied into her latest book, “The Broken Way.” It contains key selections from the book along with excerpts from her popular online blog. The book contains 60 devotions for readers to read and the a reflection for questions to ask yourself. The book is a bit small with a hard cover. Several of Ann Voskamp’s former books contain her beautiful color photos, but this one is all writing, which still speaks for itself.
As I previously stated, I’m a huge Ann Voskamp fan, and I feel this is a great devotional. The words are so God-giving, showing us how He can take our brokenness and replace it with abundant hope, joy, and healing. I don’t hesitate to recommend you to buy this book for yourself, your family, and friends.
