Review of The Faith of Dolly Parton
As a member of the Harper Collins book review team, I’m reviewing The Faith of Dolly Parton
When I saw this book as an option to review, I was overwhelmed with excitement. Dolly Parton has always been someone that I admired. I was fortunate enough to see her perform in her home state of Tennessee a few years ago and she did not disappoint. This book is all about her faith and steadfastness when it comes to her relationship with God. For someone like her who is always in the limelight, that is a refreshing trait to have, as well as an uncommon one. The book is somewhat small in size but the font is still very readable. It contains 240 pages and pictures throughout the book (black and white on the pages, and a color insert in the middle)
As a fan of Dolly Parton, I highly recommend this book. The author beautifully portrayed her life and faith. I especially loved that he was a fan of Dolly himself. If you love Dolly Parton, you will love this book about her life and how her faith has always been interwoven throughout everything she does.
