Review of The Everyday Life Bible: The Power of God’s Word for Everyday Living
As a member of the Harper Collins book review team, I’m reviewing The Everyday Life Bible
This marks the second Fashion Edition Bible I’ve reviewed for Ms. Meyer. The last one was the “Battlefield of the Mind Bible” which drew from excerpts of her same name best selling book, one that will always be a favorite of mine.
The Bible I’m reviewing today is an updated version of her popular study Bible, The Everyday Life Bible. It is the Amplified version. The majority of the text is black on white paper. The secondary text is a mauve/plum color (including chapter numbers, and special features such as Book introductions, life points, in-depth notes, commentary, and speak the Word). This Bible also contains an inscription page at the front, along with a personal word from Mrs. Meyer, and a content page. The back of the Bible has a place for notes, but does not contain a map section. This version is the Fashion Edition which comes in two different colors: pink or blue. I reviewed the pink one. It is imitation leather.
There’s five reasons I love this Bible. 1. The cover is fabulous. It is soft to the touch and the pink color is fabulous. It’s one of the prettiest Bible covers I’ve seen in a long time. 2. The Bible lays completely flat which makes it easy to read. 3. The print is fantastic. It’s very oversized which makes it easy on the eyes. 4. The Amplified version is a wonderful way to read and understand the Bible. 5. I love Ms. Meyer’s notes and commentary. I’m extremely pleased with this Bible and would highly recommend it to my readers and friends.
