Review of Know the Word Study Bible: Gain a Greater Understanding of the Bible
As a member of the Harper Collins book review team, I’m reviewing the Know the Word Study Bible
Containing the complete NKJV text, this is a hard cover Bible with three different approaches to reading the Bible: Book by Book, Verse by Verse, or Topic by Topic. This Bible also has Book introductions, the words of Jesus in red, two-color interior page design, a comprehensive list of theological notes, a concordance, and full-color maps. Although not large print, the text is a decent size and is readable.
Sized at 9×5, I would have like this Bible to have been a bit bigger, mainly because I prefer a large print Bible, but this one is still in a readable font. The NKJV is one of my favorite versions; one my own pastor uses. It contained great study notes at the bottom of each page and I really liked that. Overall it’s a fairly basic NKJV version of the Bible. There are no color pictures, other than the maps in the back, but the study notes and insights found throughout are more than enough. Overall, I would recommend this Bible to others.
