Today, I’m reviewing 10 Steps to Your F.I.T. (Faith Inspired Transformation) for Shelton Interactive author Kim Dolan Leto. In her new book she shares the steps of her own transformation with God’s help from being overweight in her 30s to gracing the covers of top fitness magazines in her 40s.

Reflecting on the book:
Through 10 steps, such as ways to renew our mind through God’s Word, how to eat God-made foods, change our perspective through joy, and celebrating every victory, Leto shares how we need to allow God to transform us from the inside out. This book is beautifully printed on glossy paper. The print is very easy on the eyes and is really well written.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I was asked to review this book, but my curiosity got the best of me and I’m glad it did. When it comes to fitness (eating healthy and exercise) I feel like a rookie, unsure of where to begin. Leto’s book is great for someone like me because she makes it simple to read and understand. Providing well to understand charts and graphs, she covers areas such as target heart rate, label reading, food portion, and food options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Most importantly, she explains how inviting God on her fitness journey helped her to focus a healthy lifestyle on Him, and in return keep a lasting motivation to lose the weight and keep it off.
I look forward to using this information in my own life, and recommend the book to everyone. I’m so glad to see people like Kim Dolan Leto sharing their expertise in the hopes of teaching women not to rely on the cover of magazines to inspire us to get fit. Instead, we are to use God as our motivation and see ourselves through His eyes.
